  1. Hi john,
Thanks for the reminder this morning, to keep dreams alive (and thanks for the good mention of fairies…they do appreciate it).

Seems that my list of wishes and dreams is growing by the day. Though it sounds good, I have to keep my head on straight, or I get lost wandering around Neverland…a good place to be, but gotta make some dreams come true along the way.

I have a picture of a beautiful, simple, creative life…full of color, puppies, fresh veggies and grandchildren. Happiness abounds, and I have time, space, and energy to give goodness to the community around me. I don’t know where this will be, but I’ll find it when the time is right.

    • Jane hold that picture in your mind then go create! Just be sure you don’t do nothing waiting for the time to be right as you could always be waiting. If you can see it you can be it. No time like the present as they say.

  2. So true, John. I’ve created a new epoch in my life called “author” and have never looked back. It’s been a wonderfully fulfilling challenge. The willingness to see things differently offers vast opportunities beyond what we currently see.

  3. I’m dusting off my desire to do art work. I ordered some colored pencils call Inktense on Amazon. My soul has been calling me to do this for the last 3 years. Yikes.

Also we’re in the process of selling our home and moving closer to the city. The theater, movies, concerts, are all an hour away. We spend too much time on the road!

    • Tess, good on you. You are on your way because the whole process of ordering those coloured pencils has broken the spell and awakened new possibility. Now go make it a reality and send me some pictures when that beautiful art appears. And you are certainly moving on many levels with the house move too. Great adventures await you. You are green for ‘go’!

    • Hi Tess,
I’m so glad you ordered the pencils! It all begins with that first step toward letting go, and honoring that voice inside…the little girl saying “I really love those colors, wonder what would happen if I just took them out and played for a while?”
Have a go, Tess, and enjoy!
      Jane

    hello john,
    how are you?
i’m sure you had an interesting trip(your facebook updates indicate you had fun lol!!)
thanks for the nudge to give it a go. i believe there wouldnt be a sense of accomplishment/fulfilment if we dont take steps to fulfilling our constructive fantasies or desires.
take care and enjoy the rest of the day.

    • Hi Ayo, yes my trip was a real barnstormer – I had a superb time. Which nudged me as well proving how much I had got going giving things a go of late. I wouldn’t have done any of what I have in the last 12 months some 5 years ago but life won’t stop so might as well travel with it. So now I have a passport to possibility. Hope you are having a go my friend.

  5. John,

I love the line “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”, It is so true!

Sometimes what is coming to our obstacles is ourselves, our hesitance stops us from reaching the height we can soar! You are right, what is stopping us, Go and have fun. I am going to take your advice and just do that!

    • Quite right too Preeti – you go have fun and let yourself go and with it your wishes and desires. If you don’t stop yourself there is nothing else stopping you. Thanks for dropping by.

  6. I love this post John. Go have a go! Great idea. Don’t sit on the sidelines of your life, right? I needed this reminder today. Thank you!

  7. Hi John! So many good points… Where to begin? No point in hanging out in the past when we have this beautiful moment to enjoy. If we make the most of this moment, we have no time to waste in the past.

Favorite line: “Skydive your way to excitement.” I love the idea of jumping with abandon into the excitement of our lives.

I gotta go now so that I can have a go at this. :) Loving blessings!
